Collecting memories is a lifetime journey. We scrapbook them, box them in special keepsake containers, display photos with pride all over the house, organize them in albums on shelves or on our computers, print out memory books from online templates and pass the stories down verbally from generation to generation.
However, it isn’t only the major people, places or events that touch us in some way. I find the unknown and unexpected, even brief encounters, are just as worth while remembering. Memorable Vignettes is my capturing snapshots of the people, places and events that in some way, even if quite briefly and even if unknown, influenced me, motivated me, formed me, enriched my life or simply brightened my day.
When my time on this earth concludes, I hope those who are cleaning out my accounts and memorabilia will take a few minutes to read these little stories before erasing them forever.
To general readers who may stumble upon this site, I hope my collection brings a smile to your face, reminds you of someone or some place you know, inspires you to write your own stories, moves you to contact a long lost friend or simply brightens your day.
Peace,
Kathy Marie
